Dallas Golf on Callaway: Callaway was the industry leader when it came to metalwoods in the late '90s. The Warbird and Great Big Bertha lines were the market leaders for years. Soon after, they focused their efforts on Iron Sets like the Big Bertha and the X-Series (X-12, X-14, X-16, etc) and our opinion is that Callaway makes the best irons in golf, across the broadest range of handicaps. In other words, without knowing your handicap, if you just ask "who makes the best irons", we think its Callaway. The X-20 Tour and the New Big Bertha Irons are fantastic, and Callaway is gaining ground again in the driver category. The new FT-i and FT-5 are very popular on the PGA Tour with players like Ernie Els and Phil Mickelson.
