Something pretty unexpected from Cobra. Their all-new F8 Driver has golf's first CNC-milled forged titanium driver face. That's right. A milled driver face. Milled is something most often associated with high-end putters. The result of milling the F8 is a face that is thinner and hotter than the one yielded by the traditional driver manufacturing process. CNC milling is all about precision. That precision is what makes the F8 a pretty big leap forward for Cobra. Another noteworthy design element for 2018 is the inclusion of what Cobra calls "aero trips." These are strategically positioned to improve airflow around the clubhead during the swing. Better airlflow means less drag. Less drag means more speed and more distance. Ever swing an oversized driver and it feels slow and sluggish? Cobra has solved that problem. What is the difference between the F8 and F8+? Simple. The standard F8 Driver has a shallower face and is a bit more elongated than the traditionally shaped F8+. The F8+ has a taller face and feels a bit more compact. (The F8+ is geared towards lower-handicap golfers.) If you choose the standard Cobra Connect grip, you will get all the benefits of Arccos, the popular technology that allows golfers to track their driving distance and accuracy built right in. There is even a brand new Driver Tuning feature on the Arccos app which uses your own data to recommend loft and weight settings on the F8 for optimal distance. Please note that the King F8 Driver can be customized to meet your specific needs. Shaft, flex, length, grip, and more. You name it. We will build it. Standard Cobra warranty applies. Cobra brand headcover and wrench are included.
