Give These Driver Shafts for Sale Some Consideration

Posted by Dallas Golf on 30 May 2020

Are you shopping for driver shafts for sale so you can build out a custom made driver that can help you improve your game and cut strokes off your performance? There is a lot that goes into the building of a quality club, although that may not be apparent to those that don’t fully invest themselves in the sport.

For example, you’ll want to consider the material that goes into each and every shaft you consider. Do you appreciate the strength, stiffness, and feedback of steel shafts? Maybe you are even more drawn towards its cost friendliness. Perhaps you are a player who likes the fact that you can achieve lightning-fast swings with some modern graphite shafts. Maybe the ability to load a graphite shaft with energy is appealing to you.

The point is, building out a driver entails much more than simply fitting a club head to a shaft. You have to shop through golf shafts, golf club heads, and maybe even the grips you want all the while taking into account your abilities as a player.

That being said, here are some options in driver shafts for sale that you will find here on our site, and each of them offers something unique in the way of performance.

Aldila NVS 45 Graphite Shaft + Adapter & Grip
Ideal for lady golfers, this lightweight graphite shaft comes in at only 47 grams, making it remarkably lightweight so that you can achieve those really high swing speeds that steel shafts seem to make so tough. Its torque rating is a 5.1, so it does twist slightly around the centerline of the shaft and you will have to be aware of that if you practice with it. It has a mid-low kick point as well and is slightly less stiff than some others here - rated as Ladies.

Fujikura EXS 7.1 Graphite Shaft + Adapter & Grip
Depending on the stiffness rating you decide to go with this shaft, it will weigh somewhere between 72 and 74 grams, a little heavier than the previous offering but still amazingly light. You can get this shaft as a part of a driver club rated as either regular, stiff, or extra stiff, so really if your heart is set on this shaft you can pick one up almost regardless of your swing speeds. With less torque than the previous offering and with a mid kick point, you can really load this shaft with energy through your swing to deliver some serious power to the ball.

Oban Revenge 8 Graphite Shaft + Adapter & Grip
Here’s another very light graphite shaft that comes in only slightly heavier than the above two options at between 83 and 85 grams. You can find this shaft on our site in either a stiff or extra stiff configuration. Less forgiving than some other less stiff shafts, this shaft is ideal for those who have a fast swing and like the extra feedback they can get from a much stiffer shaft. With minimal torque and a high kick point, this is a fine shaft for those who are really keying in on the fine points of their abilities.

Aldila NV 75 Graphite Shaft + Adapter & Grip
Available in regular, stiff and extra stiff, these shafts all come in at 78 grams. They also are all rated for the same level of torque, just shy of 3 degrees, rating at 2.8 degrees. With minimal torque like the previous entry and with a range of stiffnesses to suit a number of swing speeds and styles, this is a great shaft to investigate for pairing with a suitable driver club head. Something to keep in mind with this shaft is that it is designed to fit a large number of heads - all you need to do is swap out the heads when you get the shaft.
