Callaway Rogue

Building on last year's release of the Epic driver and fairway woods, Callaway Golf introduces the Rogue line of drivers and fairway woods for 2018. The Rogue driver comes in 3 versions. They are the standard, sub zero and draw. All the Rogue drivers feature "The Jailbreak Effect" which is an enhanced version of the the original Jailbreak design with hourglass shaped titanium bar connecting the crown and sole. These bars are now much lighter than the originals which allow for a thinner face and more flex and ball speed. There is also an improved X-Face design that provides enhance performance on off center hits, faster speeds, and longer distances.

The new Rogue driver has a more forgiving shape, as well as very light and strong triaxial carbon crown that allows for more weight to be positioned along the perimeter of the clubhead for greater stability on miss hits. Teaming up with Boeing, the Rogue driver has a new Speed Step technology that helps improve the aerodynamics. This creates better airflow and less drag during the swing.

Rogue Sub Zero

For Tour Caliber players and those in need of lower spin rates, there is the Rogue Sub Zero. The driver features the same improved Jailbreak Technology and X-Face architecture as the standard Rogue, as well as an extremely light triaxial crown that allows for more weight in the perimeter of the club head for enhanced stability and forgiveness. In addition, the Sub Zero features a low and deep CG and a neutral shot bias. This is ideal for those who want plenty of forgiveness but also shot shaping versatility. Another addition to the Rogue Sub Zero is two interchangeable weights in the front and rear of the sole (14g and 2g), which makes it possible to add or subtract up to 200 rpm of spin.

Rogue Draw

This is the final version of the Rogue driver family in 2018. This model is designed to help fight slices and produce straighter shots. The key to the slice-fighting design is a 5g-weight screw in the heel area of the sole as well as significant internal weighting in the same area. This enhances the head's ability to create 'gear effect' a physical action that minimizes slice-spin when the face is open at impact. All of these new technologies adds up to 7 more yards of draw bias than the Epic model. The Rogue Draw is built with all the same key technologies as the other members of the Rogue family.

Rogue Fairway Woods

Just like the driver, there are the Rogue and Rogue Sub Zero fairway woods. These fairway woods are the 1st to feature Jailbreak Technology. Both models utilize a very thin, Carpenter steel club face and Face Cup to significantly improve ball speed and distance. The proprietary Internal Standing Wave design is another new feature to the fairway woods. The design precisely positions the CG low and forward in the club head for a combination of high launch and low spin flight characteristics. The fairway woods are also built with a triaxial carbon composite crown that allows more weight to be placed low in the club head. The Sub Zero model features a 5g-weight screw in the front of the sole, contributing to an even further forward CG position and lower spin rates than the standard Rogue fairway wood.
