Titleist GTS Driver: Everything You Need to Know Before June 11
19 May 2026
The new Titleist GTS driver lineup lands June 11 — and it's the most significant driver release Titleist has made in years. Three models, more adjustability than any previous Titleist driver, and a completely new Split Mass Frame construction. Here's everything you need to know before it hits the shelves.
What Makes the GTS Different?
GTS stands for speed, stability, and versatility — and Titleist built each model to deliver on all three. The biggest structural change from the previous GT lineup is the Split Mass Frame, which repositions weight at two separate points across the driver head to optimize CG location for each specific model.
The result is more precise control over launch and spin than Titleist has been able to offer in a single driver family before. Each model in the GTS lineup has a distinct personality built for a distinct player type.
The Three Models: GTS2, GTS3, and GTS4
Titleist GTS2 — The Versatile Choice
The GTS2 is the mid-point of the lineup — a genuinely versatile driver that works across a wide range of player types. It's forgiving enough for most golfers but doesn't sacrifice workability. If you're not sure which GTS is right for you, start here.
- CG location: Mid-forward for neutral launch and spin
- Forgiveness: High
- Best for: Mid to high swing speeds, players who want a reliable, consistent driver without fuss
Titleist GTS3 — The Player's Driver
The GTS3 is the tour-inspired option — a more compact, workable head built for better players who want to shape shots and control their ball flight. Lower spin, penetrating launch, tighter dispersion.
- CG location: Forward and low for low spin
- Forgiveness: Moderate
- Best for: Scratch to low-handicap players, 100+ mph swing speeds, players who want to work the ball
Titleist GTS4 — Maximum Forgiveness
The GTS4 is built for distance and forgiveness above all else. Higher launch, more spin than the GTS3, and a larger footprint that puts MOI at the top of the class.
- CG location: Back and high for high launch
- Forgiveness: Maximum
- Best for: Mid-handicap players, those who struggle with consistency off the tee
| Model | Launch | Spin | Forgiveness | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GTS2 | Mid | Mid | High | Most players |
| GTS3 | Low | Low | Moderate | Low handicap |
| GTS4 | High | Mid-High | Maximum | Game improvement |
Shaft Options: Standard vs Premium
Titleist offers two shaft tiers for the GTS lineup and the difference matters more than most people realize.
Standard Shafts ($699):
- Project X Titan Black — low launch, stable, built for faster swingers
- Mitsubishi Tensei 1K White — mid-high launch, smoother feel, wider range of players
- Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Blue — mid launch, versatile
- Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Red — low launch, tour feel
Premium Shafts ($899):
- Graphite Design Tour AD DI — penetrating flight, ultra-stable, low spin
- Graphite Design Tour AD VF — variable flex profile, smooth through the bag
- Graphite Design Tour AD FI — optimized for fairways but plays well in drivers
The premium tier adds $200 and in most cases the Tour AD shafts outperform the standard options for players above 95 mph. Browse all driver shafts at Dallas Golf and all Mitsubishi Tensei shafts to see what's available with the GTS.
Which GTS Should You Order?
Quick guide:
- You're a mid to high handicapper who wants a reliable driver with plenty of forgiveness → GTS4
- You're a 10-20 handicap who wants distance and workability → GTS2
- You're a scratch player or near it and want a tour driver you can shape → GTS3
- Your swing speed is 100+ mph → seriously consider the GTS3 with a Project X Titan Black or Tour AD DI
Still not sure? A custom fitting at Dallas Golf takes the guesswork out of the decision entirely.
