Introducing the Fujikura Ventus White

Posted by Dallas Golf on 15 Jul 2025

For years the Fujikura Ventus line has been dominated by three color profiles, into the specifications and details of which we have delved deep in previous blogs.

Long have golfers respected the low-low performance of the Ventus Black, one of the best shafts in the entire industry for golfers with fast swing speeds and aggressive swing tempos.

On the other end of the spectrum was the Ventus Red, which produces a slightly higher launch profile and a bit more spin, giving players with slower swing speeds and tempos some reprieve.

Then there was the Fujikura Ventus Blue, everyman’s golf shaft, which for a wide swath of players offered consistency and reliability, even those who didn’t have very fast swing speeds.

And of course, all of these shafts are stabilized by Fujikura’s VeloCore Technology, which helped keep shots consistent and minimized shot dispersion.

But beyond the Ventus Red, there was nowhere players with slower swing speeds could look. Those who needed higher launch and spin characteristics had to look outside the Ventus line for succor.

Until now. With the advent of the Fujikura Ventus White comes a new era of Ventus superiority.

More Launch, More Spin

While the Fujikura Ventus White is like its kin in most respects, it is optimized for the needs of players who have slower swing speeds and more metered swing tempos. This makes it perfect for golfers at the beginning of their learning curves, as well as, potentially for aging golfers - along with any other golfer in the matrix who for any reason or other just does not have a strong, fast swing speed.

Chief among the reasons for this is that the Ventus White produces higher launch and spin than any other shaft in the series, and that in turn delivers greater carry distance to beleaguered golfers who otherwise would have been begrudged the benefits of the shafts in the Ventus line.

For players that simply don’t have the strength to get there with swing speed alone, the higher launch angle will carry their shots further, holding all else equal. Simply launching the ball higher will add yards to any swing.

On top of this, the Ventus White produces considerable spin, rivalling or exceeding any other Ventus shaft, resulting in a generous boost to lift that also carries the ball further. Naturally, pairing both a higher launch angle and greater spin results in a compounded benefit.

And the result is that the Ventus White goes the distance - or carries your golf ball there, and literally. Players with slower swing speeds will be amazed at the performance that can be wrung from these shafts, with no other effort on their part.

Less Weight = Higher Clubhead Speeds

Another great thing about the Fujikura Ventus White is that it has been designed as a low-weight shaft. Compared to the other shafts in the Ventus line, it is a true featherweight.

Contrast it only with the Ventus Red to get an impression of this. The lightest Ventus Red shaft tips the scales at 59 grams, and it only goes up from there. On the heavy end, the Ventus Red weighs a full 94.5 grams.

As for the Ventus White, the stakes are higher and the mass is lower; all three White profiles weigh a mere 49.5 grams, almost 10 full grams lighter than the next lightest shaft in the whole Ventus series, the Blue 5, which is 58 grams.

You know what that means: the Ventus White swings like a wisp, and even players with less strong and slower swing speeds can really swing this thing. Lighter weights translate to higher clubhead speed, which in turn translates to higher speeds off the tee.

And that, paired with higher launch and spin, generates greater carry distance. It is the perfect three-way combo.

A Stable Tip, a More Active Handle

Another ace up the sleeve of the Fujikura Ventus White is the fact that it’s made with a stable tip and a slightly more active handle.

This stiffer tip section keeps the clubhead stable at the most critical moment - impact - helping to keep down shot dispersion why the flex profile does its thing.

And, as for the slightly more active butt section, that delivers excellent feedback, so the golfer can make fine adjustments as needed.

Stabilized by VeloCore+ Technology

velocore

The entire value of the Fujikura Ventus White is tied up in one important aspect of its design: like the other golf driver shafts in the Ventus lineup, it also is stabilized by VeloCore+ Technology.

VeloCore+ Technology is what it has always been: a multi-media bias core construction that stabilizes the shaft, helping to prevent ovaling and deformation, even with aggressive swing speeds and tempos, and during tough transitions.

The result, for golfers of all skill levels, is an exceptionally smooth, stable, and consistent shaft that minimizes shot-to-shot dispersion, regardless of whether you’re playing with a Ventus White, Red, Blue or Black.

Better Than Custom Golf Shafts

custom golf

Given the breadth of the Fujikura Ventus series, there is a shaft in there for any player, eliminating the need for custom” golf shafts.

All the same, which of these shafts would work best for you is not something you should take lightly, or guess at, or even assume. The Ventus White might be the best thing you ever swing, but you won’t know that till you try.

Of course, don’t go about it blindly. That’s the reason there are professional golf fitters in this market. And even if you don’t actually work with one face to face, speaking with one and asking the right questions can help you settle on which of the Ventus shafts would work best for you.

So, if you think a Ventus White might be for you but you just aren’t sure yet (who knows, a Red or Blue could be better) then reach out to us and get in touch with one of our golf club fitters. We’ll listen to what you’re looking for and make personalized recommendations on the matter.
